Effective January 1st, 2004, the Consulate General in Houston has been
down-graded to a Consulate.

Consequently, the production of passports and visa has been transferred
to the Consulate General in
Miami.

However, applications for visas and passport can still be submitted at the
Consulate, but the normal processing time has increased with at least 2 -
3 working days.

Office hours have been set at 7.30 am to 3.30 pm on working
days.

The office will be open for the public from 8 am to 1 pm on working
days.

Information concerning the applications of visas and passports is also
made available by telephone (713) 622-8000.

After office hours the duty officer of the Miami office can be reached
for emergencies only; please do NOT call for questions regarding visas
